Who Watches Robert Bruno?

The big reveal has happened! Robert Bruno’s “Watchmen” print has been unveiled at WonderCon and we’re super-excited for this one! Robert’s managed to focus on all the “hits” from the movie, including Jon Osterman getting ripped apart on a molecular level, Nite-Owl and Silk Spectre making out during nuclear apocalypse and the whole team assembled for an awesome group shot.

The Return of Robert Bruno!

We’re back with Illustrator and friend of I Got Birds, Robert Bruno! We thought we would catch up with Robert in the year since our last podcast, and Rob was gracious enough to come back on. You may want to turn your speakers up a bit, as we had some technical difficulty and ended up recording on an iPhone. That being said, we hope you enjoy The Return of Robert Bruno!

I Don’t Need Your Civil War!

I don’t need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin’ soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain’t that fresh
I don’t need your civil war

Vector master, Orlando Arocena, returns with his take on Marvel’s “Civil War” event! As all comic nerds (myself included) know, Civil War was a 7-part miniseries in which Captain America (anti-hero registration act) and his assembled forces fought Tony Stark (pro-hero registration act) and those on his side. It was hero against hero. Some lived, some died and Spider-Man outed his identity to the world media!

Two things I really like: Guardians of The Galaxy and David Bowie. Mash-up these two interests, and you’ve got a fan in me! The Dark Inker did just that! Mixing up The Guardians Gamora with a little Bowie flair.

You can find this piece and many others at Hero Complex Gallery’s “Quotes, Lines and Lyrics” show, going on now!
